IF THEY WERE BANKS, WHO WOULD YOU TRUST WITH YOUR MONEY?

Published

on

I saw a hilarious but creatively thought-provoking video in which a man posed a rather simple yet profound question:

If Peter Obi, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar were banks, which of the three would you trust enough to deposit your hard-earned money with?

I thought we could take the analogy a little further.

If you were looking for a manager to run your business, whom among the three would you employ?

And if Nigeria were your family business, which of them would you feel comfortable handing the keys to?

Think about it.

Beyond party affiliations, ethnic sentiments, religious considerations and political sentiments, who does your honest judgement settle on?

Whoever your mind sincerely settles with, give that person your vote.

After all, an election is not a family inheritance, a religious obligation or an ethnic compensation scheme. It is a decision about who gets entrusted with the affairs of our collective enterprise.

Vote with your head, not just with your heart.
