APM Chairman Backs Makinde, Says Nigeria Needs a Fresh Reset

The National Chairman of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale, has said the party’s presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde, is preferable to Nigerians because of his young age, performance and maturity displayed during his last seven years in Oyo State.
He made this known on Tuesday during the commencement of his town hall meeting in Katsina State.
Dantale appealed to Nigerians to give maximum consideration to age, performance and ability to deliver, saying these are the qualities needed to overcome the current insecurity, economic downturn, out-of-school children and other ugly developments in the country.
He said Nigeria was no longer a safe haven as it was in the past, attributing the situation to a leadership gap in the country.
The APM National Chairman challenged other presidential candidates to embark on similar visits being carried out by Makinde if they were strong enough.
“The country now is on life support, people can no longer move freely, hardships of all shapes and colours, we are in a logjam,” he said.
Dantale appealed to Nigerians to support the APM presidential candidate’s “Reset Nigeria” agenda, saying an all-round reset is needed in the country.
