Ayoola Honours Late Mother With Befitting Burial as Clergy Preach Legacy, Godly Living

The Deputy President, Academics of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Rev. Prof. O. B. Oladejo, has advised Christians to live lives of positive impact and remain committed to the service of God and humanity.

Rev. Prof. Oladejo gave the advice in his sermon during the funeral service of Mama Esther Oyeduntan Atoke Ayoola, held at Christ Heritage Baptist Church, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Taking his Bible reading from Acts Chapter 13, verse 22, the clergyman urged Christians, especially mothers, to remain steadfast in faith and prayers towards the actualisation of their dreams for their children.
Describing death as inevitable, Rev. Prof. Oladejo also admonished Christians to be mindful of their words and give priority to living good lives and leaving behind worthy legacies, stressing that posterity would judge everyone.
In a tribute during the funeral service, the Founder of Christ Centered Prayer City, Iragbiji, Osun State, Prophet Julius Abiola Ayotunde, PhD, described Mama Esther Oyeduntan Atoke Ayoola as a mother who, throughout her lifetime, championed peaceful coexistence within and outside her family.
While extolling her virtues as a Christian mother, Prophet Ayotunde prayed to God to grant her eternal rest.
Also speaking, the Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Reverend Deji Oyelami, stressed the need for Christian mothers to build godly homes as part of efforts to reposition society for the better.
Reverend Oyelami, who also prayed for the eternal rest of Mama Esther Oyeduntan Atoke Ayoola, wished her children and the entire family well as they organised a befitting burial for their mother.
Earlier, the Minister in charge of Christ Heritage Baptist Church, Oke Anu, Ogbomoso, Rev. Dr. Olushola Olaniyan, praised Mama Esther Oyeduntan Atoke Ayoola for her contributions to the progress and development of the Church, particularly in the area of evangelism.
Rev. Dr. Olaniyan said Mama Esther Oyeduntan Atoke Ayoola had successfully completed her mission on earth and was now resting in the bosom of the Lord.
The funeral service, attended by other Ministers of God, friends, family members and others, featured thanksgiving, special prayers for the children and the family, as well as the presentation of gifts to the Church by the children.
