Baptist RAs and Lydias Step Up Parade Drills Ahead of NBC 113th Annual Session
The Royal Ambassadors and Lydia Auxiliary of the FCT Baptist Conference have stepped up parade preparations ahead of the 113th Annual Session of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
This year’s Convention, which will be hosted by the FCT Baptist Conference, is scheduled to hold from April 18 to 23, 2026, at the Baptist International Convention Centre (BICC), Kubwa, Abuja.
As part of efforts to enhance their contribution to the Convention, the Royal Ambassadors and Lydia Auxiliary are utilizing their 2026 Annual Summit, currently taking place at First Baptist Church, Garki, Abuja, to conduct morning parade rehearsals.
Speaking during one of the rehearsals in Abuja, the RA Parade Commandant of the FCT Baptist Conference, Amb. Kish Adamu, explained that the exercise is aimed at preparing members of the Royal Ambassadors and Lydia Auxiliary physically, mentally, and emotionally for the Convention.
He noted that the four-day summit will also include activities such as band course and training, parade drills, final selection of the Convention squad, and a Bible quiz, among others.
According to him, leaders of the Royal Ambassadors and Lydia Auxiliary, alongside ministers from the FCT Baptist Conference, are expected to minister, teach, and offer spiritual guidance to participants during the summit.
Amb. Kish Adamu expressed optimism that participants would emerge from the four-day programme as better children of God.
He also advised members participating in the summit to maintain good conduct and continue to represent Christ positively during and after the programme.
