Benue SWAN Congratulates New Sports Commissioner Imojime, Assures Full Support

The Benue State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated the newly appointed Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Creativity, Hon. Tiza Isaac Imojime, describing his appointment as well-deserved.

In a congratulatory message, SWAN Chairman, Hembadoon Orsar, said Hon.

According to Orsar, “You are a man of magnetism, charisma, and charm. SWAN is confident that, as a leader with a listening ear who builds consensus and accommodates differing opinions, you will design programmes that will unite the youths, inspire creativity, and take sports in the state to greater heights. By this, you will surely distinguish yourself as a great leader.”

He further pledged the association’s unflinching support towards advancing sports development, promoting events to engage youths meaningfully, and keeping them off the streets. Orsar added, “We also pray for God’s wisdom to guide you in steering the affairs of the ministry successfully, so that your legacy will continue to shine beyond imagination.”

On behalf of SWAN members, the chairman also commended Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia for his thoughtful choice in appointing Hon. Imojime as Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Creativity.

The statement, signed by SWAN Secretary, Terfa Alaghga, noted: “This appointment is a clear indication of the governor’s unwavering love and commitment to youth and sports development in Benue State.”
