Bose Alao bereaved as husband, Razak Omotoyossi, passes on

Nollywood actress, Bose Alao, has been thrown into mourning following the death of her husband, former Benin Republic international striker, Razak Omotoyossi.

Reports confirmed that Omotoyossi died on August 19, 2025, though details surrounding his death remain unclear.

Bose Alao and Omotoyossi got married in 2007, and their union is blessed with four children. Their marriage, however, was known to be turbulent at times.

In 2018, the actress accused her husband of domestic violence but later clarified that it was a marital issue that required counseling rather than public judgment.

Omotoyossi enjoyed a remarkable football career, featuring for several clubs across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
