Fresh controversy has emerged in the ongoing DNA saga involving Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his alleged baby mama, Ayo Labinjoh. The dispute took a new turn on Tuesday, January 20, as Labinjoh returned to social media to respond to comments surrounding her daughter, Anu.

In her post, Ayo addressed accusations that she was attempting to force her child on the singer because of his wealth. She dismissed such claims, insisting that she knew Davido long before he became famous. According to her, she met the musician in 2013 when he was still an upcoming artiste.
As part of her response, Ayo brought Davido’s first publicly acknowledged daughter, Imade, into the discussion. She referred to Imade as the singer’s second child and recalled the controversy that once surrounded her paternity. While explaining her stance, she wrote:
“Even Uncle @delemomoduovation, who is close to the Adelekes and even an uncle to Anu’s half-sister, Imade, the second child, who also fought a DNA battle, has chosen not to intervene.”
She went further to directly question the singer over past events, stating:
“David, YOU and I are the only ones who know who I slept with in February 2013. Have you told the world you sent me money on the day of the naming ceremony, in November 2013?”
Ayo also criticised Davido’s conduct, describing his attitude in strong terms. “You are a boy, not a man. You are a dad, not a father,” she added.
In another post, she shared what she described as the alleged DNA timelines of Davido’s children. According to her, the list read:
“Anu Adeleke September 2014, Imade Adeleke June 2015, Hailey Adeleke May 2017, Dawson Adeleke June 2021, Ivanna Bay, June 2023, in utero — #Terminated.”
Hours after Imade was described as Davido’s second child, the singer appeared to respond indirectly. He shared a photo of himself with Imade on his social media page, which many followers interpreted as a silent affirmation of her position as his first child.
Reactions continued to trail the online exchange, with social media users expressing mixed views. While some questioned the claims, others defended the singer. One commenter wrote, “My own be say, are you sure that David is the father of your child?” Another added, “Oky we agreed she’s his daughter and what next? Because David will not treat her as his own still.”
Others shared opposing opinions, with one user stating, “Anu Adeleke Davido’s first child is truly beautiful and Imade looks like her too.” Another remarked, “Nor go find your papa dey find Adeleke u go old tire.”
The drama reportedly deepened after Anu herself reacted to Davido’s earlier comments on the matter. She expressed disappointment over his tone, saying she never expected to be “cursed out and bullied” by someone she was simply seeking answers from. She also alleged that the singer threatened to have her mother arrested and used demeaning language against her publicly.
The dispute continues to attract widespread attention as public interest remains high over the unresolved DNA claims and the unfolding family drama surrounding the Afrobeats star.
