Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has confirmed the freedom of the 38 worshippers abducted by bandits from the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Eruku.

Channels Television reported the development, although full details surrounding their release are yet to be disclosed. Earlier reports indicated that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of N100 million for each of the 38 victims. It remains unclear whether any ransom was eventually paid.
