Bringing Goodluck In 2027?

A country rumoured one too many to die, like a cat with many lives, she keeps defying all permutations, projections, kicking, striving and thriving within the waves of divine protection.
Who remebers the C I A 2015 deadline? A deadline so forecasted, the reality and surety of it had no shades of failing.
Who remembers it? Ten years after, that country rumoured or rather orchestrated to disintegrate is still bubbling with life, however battered and impoverished, the goodnews is, she is still breathing with the air of unity . Though there are still pockets of violence, dots of secession, coma of kidnapping and semi colon of bigotry, yet to see the fullstop of disintegration. If you ask me, far-flung to be a reality any time soon.
When it raged and all believed it, when its disintegration was palpable with a believable features so crystal clear not even a doubting thomas could doubt it, Goodluck stood and pulled it through, calming the raging tide and reducing the force of the whirlwind. You say lies or cast aspersions. The truth is it was all about Goodluck and God’s mercy that we were not consumed.
Think through those periods, the tension, the trepidation in the air and overly vulnerablity of people, not knowing where the next bomb would blast and the next IEDs would detonate, Goodluck pulled it.
There is nothing better than Goodluck, it may not give one all that one desires with passion, focused with intentionality and believes with sincerity, but it could at least give one a soothing balm that keeps one going even in a terrain of seemingly hopelessness.
Ask me between Goodluck , Change and Renewed Hope which one appeals and would possibly tickle my fancy, I would off the cuff go for Goodluck. Change showed us shege, renewed hope is showing us banza. Changed took us to another level of deception and lacklustre.
As if it wasn’ enough, renewed hope is taking us on a ride to no where but hopelessness. Everyone is mute but suffering, tears dried and the strenght to cry , shout and complain gone. Like that lamb being taken to the slaughter house, we watch, mope, hoping to process with clarity which way we are headed, sadly it all seems blurred and opaque.
In life look for Goodluck! With Patience, a thousand mile journey is assured. Nothing works in the life of one without Goodluck. It was Goodluck that makes one victorious in a race with milions of contenders, hitting the pot of fertility before others. It is still Goodluck that gives one free gift of life , unpaid for, though priceless.
This morning my eyes got clued to this book “President Explains”. It was a compilation of the transcripted Presidential Media Chats with Dr. Ebele Jonathan. I wanted to ignore it. However hard I tried, I couldn’t . Eventually I picked it, flipping through the pages, I discovered the Goodluck we missed in Dr. Jonathan.He was a Goodluck with the help of hindsight comparatively which Nigerians mangled and treated with levity. He was that Goodluck, like the petals of a beautiful blossoming flower which Nigerians were not patient enough to watch its unveiling. He was that Goodluck many derided and prefered change for. He was that Goodluck many demeaned to have a taste of that over hyped okoro soap that eventually gave us the stomach ache , so painful and discomforting one regrets taking it.
2027! Can we bring in Goodluck? Can we pray for Goodluck? Can the aura and sincerity of purpose of Goodluck be the beacon to direct our choices? Can we jettison change, black list renewed hope and other mantra that have given us poison in sweet and honey coats?
With the help of hindsight, Goodluck is the magic wand we need come 2027. Whoever has this Goodluck in abundance gets it. Sadly Nigerians are very indeterminant set of people, always at cross purposes on what choice to make. Very credulous, believing every new lies coated with rhetorics as the way to go.
When change came, they thought it was the ace in the hole, the long awaited messiah. Boom! What came out of it engulfed us all.
Renewed hope came. It grapped it, ran with it, we thought there was a destination of eldoradic features. Boom! We got engulfed, the Incineration, giving everyone blisters, pains and agony. When will we learn our lessons? We have seen them all. Making empty noise with no commensurate positive impact.
Bringing Goodluck in 2027 the best option?
