CG NFSS Condemns Killing Of Brigadier General Braimah And Other Soldiers

The Commander General of Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS), Dr. Joshua Osatimehin has deeply condemned in the strongest terms the tragic killing of Brigadier General O.O. Braimah and other gallant officers who paid the supreme price in the defence of our great nation during the recent attack in Borno State.

In a statement in Abuja, Dr Joshua Osatimehin on behalf of the entire leadership, officers, and men of the NFSS, extended the Service heartfelt condolences to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the bereaved families, and the Office of the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

According to Dr Joshua Osatimehin, the painful loss is a reminder of the enormous sacrifices being made daily by Nigeria’s security forces in the collective effort to restore peace and stability across the nation.

The Commander General of NFSS also acknowledge the tireless efforts of the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, whose commitment, strategic experience, and proven track record in national service continue to strengthen Nigeria’s fight against insecurity.

Dr. Joshua Osatimehin therefore urged all Nigerians to remain steadfast, law-abiding, and prayerful for our country and its leadership at this critical time.

“With unity, resilience, and sustained support for our security institutions, Nigeria shall surely overcome its present security challenges” He stated

The Commander General added that NFSS remains resolute in its support for all lawful measures aimed at safeguarding lives, securing our forests, and defending the territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
