Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council Awards Scholarship To Children Of Dr. Adeniran Adeyemi
The Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Kassim Mohammed has awarded scholarship to the four children of the late Director, Primary Health Department of the Council, Dr. Adeniran Adeyemi.
Alhaji Kassim Mohammed announced this when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Director in Gwagwalada Abuja.
The Chairman who expressed sadness over the demise of Dr. Adeniran Adeyemi described him as an hardworking, dedicated and committed member of his management staff who had contributed his quota to the development of Gwagwalada Area Council most especially in the area of health sector.
While also describing Dr. Adeniran Adeyemi as a philanthropist and God fearing health practitioner, the Chairman noted that his humanitarian services to the less privileged in Gwagwalada would never be forgotten.
Alhaji Kassim Mohammed who equally announced the donation of one million Naira to the family of the late Director of Primary Health Department prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irresistible loss.
Receiving the Chairman on behalf of the family, a Close Associate of the Deceased, Pharmacist Dapo Adebosin expressed gratitude to Alhaji Kassim Mohammed for the kind gesture.
The Wife of the Chairman of the Council, Alhaja Kassim Mohammed, Council Executives, embers of the Legislative Arm, Colleagues, Associates and Friends have also been paying condolence visit to the family of Dr. Adeniran Adeyemi following his denise last Sunday on University of Abuja Teaching Hospital in Gwagwalada during an illness.
Until his death, Dr. Adeniran Adeyemi was the Director, Primary Health Department, Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
He is survived by relatives, two wives and four children.
