Christmas: Gov Alia’s PSA Highlights Major Achievements in Two Years Appeals for sustained community support

The Principal Special Assistant (PSA) to Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, on Legal Matters, Barrister Seember Wayo, has commended the governor for what she described as remarkable developmental strides recorded within two years of his administration.

Wayo made the remarks during a Christmas visit to her constituents in Mbayongo, Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State.
She praised Governor Alia’s leadership, noting that his administration has implemented far-reaching reforms across key sectors of the state’s economy, achievements she said are visible and cannot be ignored.
According to her, the governor has recorded significant progress in road infrastructure, construction and rehabilitation of primary, secondary and tertiary schools, revitalisation of the health sector, youth and women empowerment initiatives, as well as improvements in agriculture, industry, trade and investment.
Barr. Wayo appealed to members of her community to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise, describing it as the surest way to sustain the gains of the present administration by returning Governor Alia to office.
She also assured the people of the governor’s commitment to the construction of roads within Mbayongo council ward in the near future.
In their separate remarks, the APC Chairman in the local government, Mr. David Tyogbea; the Gubernatorial Liaison Officer, Mr. Joseph Yawe; and the councillor representing Mbayongo ward, Mr. Tebe Richard, expressed appreciation to Governor Alia for appointing their daughter and other sons of Yongo-Tiev into positions of responsibility.
They called on well-meaning Kunav indigenes and Benue people at large to continue supporting the governor, citing ongoing projects in road construction, healthcare delivery, education, agriculture and other sectors.
Other speakers at the event, including the Acting Tyoor, Mr. Zaki Joseph Shirsha; Chairlady of the Yongo-Tiev Development Association (Women Wing), Mrs. Mayange; Yongo-Tiev Youth President, Comrade Uganden Iorkohol; and Chairlady of the Widows Association, Mrs. Roseline Ate, also commended Governor Alia and Barr. Wayo, urging them to sustain the momentum of good governance.
As part of the Christmas celebration, the PSA distributed relief items to her constituents, including bags of rice, wrappers, cartons of seasoning cubes, bags of salt and cash donations.
Barr. Wayo was accompanied by the Principal Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication, Hon. Bridget Tikyaa; Special Adviser on Digital Media and Communication, Hon. Igbetar Jerry Signor; former Mbayongo councillorship aspirant, Hon. Laha David, and other associates.
