CISCSM Inducts 282 Professionals, Celebrates Excellence in Sales and Customer Service

The Chartered Institute of Sales and Customer Service Management (CISCSM) has inducted 282 professionals across five membership categories at its 2026 Conference, Awards and Induction Ceremony, held at NECA House, Ikeja, Lagos.

The ceremony marked the culmination of a week-long programme of virtual conference sessions held from October 5 to 9, followed by the grand finale on Saturday, October 10, under the theme, **“The Extra Mile: Beyond Service, Beyond Expectations.”**

In his welcome address, **Dr Sunday O. Fayose, President of CISCSM**, emphasised the need to combine technological advancement with human values, noting that while technology continues to transform business operations, trust, empathy and genuine human connection remain essential to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

He also called on members and stakeholders to unite behind the institute’s mission, urging them to work collectively towards advancing professional standards in sales and customer service management.

Addressing the inductees, Fayose stressed that professional recognition must be matched by responsibility, integrity and a commitment to excellence. He encapsulated the conference theme with the statement: **“The extra mile is not what we do, but what we become.”**

The induction ceremony saw nine Honorary Fellows, 17 Doctoral Fellows, 71 Fellows, 97 Full Members and 88 Associate Members inducted into the institute. The ceremony also featured awards recognising professional achievement, including an award for the highest score in Sales and Customer Service.

Distinguished individuals recognised during the programme included **Mr Olamide Olusegun Ojomo, Dr Anaele Kingsley, Mr Olayinka Ajayi, Dr Clement Ayo Oladejo, Mrs Belinda Ogunrinu, Dr Victor Olarinde Orowale, Dr Bhadmus Abudu Sarafa, Dr Kayode A. Kolawole and Coach Ugochi Ossai**.

Other distinguished guests included **Mrs Tessy Ojomo, Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo, Barr. Deborah A. Ijadele-Adetona and Dr Ifedayo Owoseni**, Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the institute.

The conference featured keynote addresses, networking sessions, team-building activities, panel discussions and interactive question-and-answer sessions designed to strengthen professional capacity and encourage the exchange of practical industry insights.
