Consensus deals, zoning arrangements and fierce contests force 12 incumbent House of Representatives members out of APC race.
Several serving members of the House of Representatives have failed to secure return tickets during the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries conducted across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Among the notable lawmakers affected is the House Majority Leader, Julius Ihonvbere, whose attempt to secure a third term for Owan Federal Constituency in Edo State ended in defeat.
