Eid-el-Kabir: AHACCI urges leaders, Nigerians to Embrace Sacrifice, Compassion And Accountability

The Atum Humanitarian Anti-Corruption and Charitable Initiative (AHACCI) has felicitated with Muslim faithful across Nigeria and around the world on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

In his Sallah message in Abuja, the Executive Chairman of the Organization, Alhaji Ismaila Yusuf Atumeyi said at a time when many Nigerians are struggling with rising living costs, insecurity and uncertainty, the message of Eid-el-Kabir speaks more strongly than ever about sacrifice, compassion, faith and responsibility to others.

This season is not only about celebration. It is also a reminder that society survives when people are willing to make sacrifices for the common good.

AHACCI therefore calls on political leaders, public office holders, business owners and privileged citizens to use this period for reflection and to place the welfare of the people above personal interest, greed and corruption.

The organisation believes public trust is damaged when resources meant to improve lives are diverted while millions of Nigerians continue to battle hardship, hunger and uncertainty.

We urge Nigerians to continue showing kindness and support to the less privileged, especially widows, orphans, internally displaced persons, persons living with disabilities and struggling families who may find the season difficult.

According to AHACCI, the fight against corruption must go hand in hand with compassion, justice and practical support for vulnerable people across society.

Nigeria cannot overcome hardship when sacrifice is demanded from ordinary citizens while greed and corruption continue to thrive among the powerful.

As Muslim faithful mark Eid-el-Kabir, AHACCI prays for peace, unity, healing and renewed hope for the nation.
