Elder Brother of Former Benue Speaker Dies Hours After His Resignation

Elder Gwamile, elder brother to the immediate past Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, reportedly slumped and died on Sunday, just hours after his younger brother tendered his resignation.

As at the time of filing this report, details of the incident remain sketchy.

Sources revealed that the late Elder Dajoh had been deeply worried over the lingering political crisis in the Assembly before his sudden demise.

His death came shortly after Hon. Aondona Dajoh’s resignation as Speaker, which cleared the way for the emergence of Hon. Alfred Berger as the new Speaker during an emergency plenary session.
