JAMB Directs 2025 Admission Candidates to Re-Upload O’Level Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates seeking admission for the 2025 academic session to re-upload their O’Level results on its official portal.

According to the Board, the directive applies to candidates who had uploaded their results before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). JAMB explained that all previously uploaded records have been cleared from its system.

In its weekly bulletin released on Monday, the Board said the move was necessary to eliminate discrepancies and ensure that only authentic WAEC results are used in the admission process.

The statement further clarified that some candidates who wrote the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with “awaiting results” had earlier uploaded incomplete WAEC records before the final release of the results.

“To address this issue, JAMB has mandated a fresh upload for every candidate, regardless of whether the results differ from those uploaded earlier,” the bulletin stated.

The Board therefore advised all UTME candidates to urgently re-upload their 2025 SSCE results on the JAMB portal to avoid being disqualified from admission consideration.
