Yagongwo Nursing Graduates Charged to Be Worthy Ambassadors

Graduates of Yagongwo College of Nursing Sciences, Kuje, Abuja, have been advised to be good ambassadors of their institution wherever they find themselves.


The Director of the College, Dr.
Adamu Jatau Noma, gave the advice during the Set A graduation celebratory lunch held at the college premises in Kuje.

While congratulating the pioneer graduates of the institution, Dr. Noma stressed that learning is a continuous process with no end.
“As you enter society, be ready to learn and accept responsibilities from those ahead of you,” he said.
He added, “Remember that it is only when people believe in and trust your ability to deliver that you are assigned responsibilities, and you should never take that for granted.”
Dr. Noma also announced that the college’s first convocation, the date of which will be announced soon, would feature prizes for students who distinguished themselves academically, as well as letters of recognition for those who diligently carried out assigned responsibilities.

The Agabe of Gwargwada, Alhaji Husseini Mam, congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their academic journey in the nursing profession.
He urged them to maintain good behaviour that would bring honour to their families and society at large.
The traditional ruler also promised to provide any positive assistance the graduates might need to support their personal growth and career development.

Earlier, the Head of the Nursing Department, Mrs. Adamu Suzie Jacob, encouraged the graduates to continue flying the flag of Yagongwo College of Nursing Sciences, Kuje, by maintaining good conduct at all times.
She urged them to distinguish themselves through good morals, noting that such values would help them excel in their careers.
The celebration featured games and entertainment, including Pass the Phone, “We’re Graduates, of Course…”, funny awards and superlatives, “Things We Never Thought We Would Miss,” award presentations, and other fun activities.
