Enenche Urges FG, State Governments on Security, Declares Nigeria in Season of Drought
From Dooshima Terkura, Makurdi
Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC) worldwide, Dr. Paul Enenche, has called on governments at all levels to rise to their responsibilities by ensuring the security of lives and property across the country.
Dr. Enenche made the call in Makurdi while speaking with newsmen during his visit for the North-Central Regional Convention of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International (FGBMFI) and the Makurdi Apostolic Invasion, organized by DIGC, holding on Friday.
The cleric lamented that the country was currently in a season of drought, stressing that what Nigerians need most at this time is divine revival and the opening of the heavens over the land.
He, however, encouraged citizens to put their trust in God, assuring that those who do so will not be disappointed.
According to him, the ongoing programmes would climax with a special dedication service on Saturday morning, which he believes will usher in God’s presence and power to bring hope, peace, and joy to the people.
“The visit is for the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International, North-Central Regional Convention, themed ‘Trusting God for Times of Refreshing’, which focuses on revival. DIGC is also holding an Apostolic Invasion where we trust God to establish His purpose and mandate of Dominion in the land.
“We believe that by the time we have the dedication on Saturday, God’s Presence and Power will bring hope, peace, joy, miracles, healings, and progress for the land. This is why we are here,” he explained.
Dr. Enenche urged the people of Benue State to continue to look up to God, trusting Him to intervene in the multiple challenges facing the nation.
“At this time of insecurity, my message is threefold: first, we must trust God to help and take charge of our land; second, governments must take responsibility and fulfill the basic mandate of governance, which is securing lives and property; and third, citizens must not go to sleep but remain vigilant, doing what is necessary to protect themselves and their communities,” he said.
The cleric described the present state of the country as dire, warning that “we are in a season of drought, a terrible dry season where everything seems closed.” He added that Nigerians must earnestly seek God for refreshing, revival, and open heavens.
