Flybird Private Jet Crash-Lands at Kano Airport, No Casualties Reported
A private jet operated by Flybird crash-landed on Sunday morning at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA), Kano, briefly disrupting activities at the airport.
The aircraft, which took off from Abuja, encountered the incident at about 9:30 a.m. while attempting to land. There were 11 persons on board the jet, including three crew members.
An eyewitness at the airport confirmed that all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated from the aircraft, noting that no casualties were recorded.
As of the time this report was filed, airport authorities had not released an official statement explaining the cause of the crash-landing.
