Gala Times Unveils Global Digital Platform For Events, Media And Business Networking
A new digital platform designed to transform event management, media engagement and business networking has been launched in Abuja, offering users access to an integrated ecosystem connecting event organisers, businesses, content creators and audiences around the world.
The platform, Gala Times, was officially launched on Saturday by Azariah Management Group (AMG), its developer, as part of efforts to create new opportunities for global connections through technology, entertainment and digital media.
Founded by Joseph Ibeh and Chiffon Watkins, Gala Times brings together event planning, online ticketing, advertising, event discovery, social networking and multimedia publishing under one digital platform.
The initiative is designed to serve individuals, businesses, corporate organisations and event professionals, providing tools to organise events, reach wider audiences, promote services and establish professional relationships.
Its services cover a broad range of activities, including conferences, concerts, exhibitions, festivals, weddings, corporate gatherings, sporting events, cultural celebrations and academic programmes.
Organisers can use the platform to create event listings, manage registrations, promote programmes and connect with prospective attendees. Businesses and service providers can also use the ecosystem to improve their visibility and reach potential clients.

While access to the platform is free, charges may apply to transactions and optional commercial services.
One of its key features is Gala Mate, a social discovery and event companion service that allows users to interact and build connections around shared interests and events.
The feature includes messaging, voice notes, location sharing, digital business cards and ticket gifting, enabling users to maintain relationships and explore personal or professional opportunities beyond event venues.
Gala Times is also positioning itself as a media platform through three content brands: Gala Times News, Gala Times Podcast and Gala Times Magazine.
Gala Times News will cover developments in entertainment, fashion, business, celebrity lifestyles, cultural affairs and the creative industries.
The podcast arm will feature conversations with personalities and professionals across entrepreneurship, leadership, finance, technology, sports, health, fashion, entertainment, academia and international development.
Through interviews, video podcasts and multimedia storytelling, the platform intends to showcase ideas, experiences and perspectives from different sectors.
Gala Times Magazine will focus on lifestyle features, interviews, personality profiles and visual storytelling, providing additional exposure for individuals, organisations and emerging talents.
The media components are expected to complement the event platform by extending the reach and visibility of activities beyond their physical locations and scheduled dates.
The international team behind the initiative brings together professionals with experience in broadcasting, filmmaking, investment, technology, business development and multimedia production.
Vice President Dan Akinlolu, an international broadcaster, filmmaker and media entrepreneur, brings more than 15 years of experience across film, television and digital media. His professional background includes associations with MultiChoice and M-Net, as well as creative and technology ventures.
Stanley Chukwu serves as Investment Director, while Taiwo Dele leads the technology team.
Other members of the team include Osmond Ugbodaga, Aishat Jimoh, Edgar Collingwood-Williams, Mary Ijeoma Chiazor, Lydia and Caroline Kairos, with additional support for multimedia and podcast production from the United Kingdom.
Gala Times is targeting users and commercial opportunities across Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom and other international markets.
Its advertising system will allow businesses to submit campaigns for administrative review and approval, creating opportunities for brands to promote their products and services to audiences across the platform.
Azariah Management Group, which developed the initiative, describes itself as a strategic consulting, technology development and business innovation company focused on digital solutions and business growth.
The company said the platform reflects its ambition to use technology to strengthen connections among people, businesses and creative communities while supporting cultural exchange and international collaboration.
