Gov. Alia Congratulates Babangida at 84

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has joined family, friends, and millions of Nigerians in celebrating former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd), on the occasion of his 84th birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, Governor Alia described the former leader’s 84 years as remarkable, marked by outstanding achievements and personal fulfilment.

He noted that reaching such a milestone reflects God’s grace, mercy, and benevolence.

The Governor further acknowledged Babangida’s significant role in shaping Nigeria’s political and economic development.

Governor Alia prayed for God’s continued strength, guidance, and sustenance for the elder statesman.
