Gov. Mutfwang Mourns Passing of Pastor Emmanuel Dickson Ibekwe

Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on Thursday described the late Pastor Emmanuel Chibueze Dickson Ibekwe as a devoted servant of God, a man of unwavering faith, integrity, and compassion, whose life of selfless service to God will be deeply missed by his family and the wider community.
The governor noted that the legacies of Pastor Ibekwe, who passed on at the age of 73, would remain a shining example to all.
In a condolence message signed by his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Dr. Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang highlighted Pastor Ibekwe’s impactful contributions to the spiritual and moral growth of many, stressing that his influence would continue to inspire generations to come.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Plateau State, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Dickson Ibekwe family, friends, and the entire community during this moment of deep loss,” the statement read.
He urged the family to draw strength from the enduring legacy of love, discipline, and devotion that Pastor Ibekwe exemplified throughout his life.
While expressing gratitude to God for a life well spent, the governor prayed that the Almighty would grant the bereaved family strength, fortitude, and peace in this difficult period.
The message also assured the family of his solidarity, prayers, and support, while committing the soul of the departed to eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
