NAKOSS Awards Babagbemi, Inducts Him Into Hall of Fame

The National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) has honoured Pastor Babagbemi Joseph Adejola, founder of GB IRORUN Foundation, with its Award of Excellence for his contributions to education, security and student welfare.

The award was presented on Friday in Abuja, where Babagbemi was also inducted into the Kogi State Students’ Hall of Fame.

Speaking during the presentation, the NAKOSS National President, Sunday Adeola Simon, praised the philanthropist for his continuous support to students and communities across Yagbaland.

He recalled that Pastor Adejola recently donated six motorcycles to local vigilante groups, a move he said has helped to strengthen security in rural areas.

The student body also recognised his support for education, noting that he has sponsored more than 20 Kogi students in tertiary institutions. According to the president, many of these students have been able to continue their studies because of his intervention.

Adeola added that Babagbemi has been consistent in providing assistance in areas of social welfare, empowerment and community development, making him a worthy recipient of the honour.

Pastor Babagbemi, in his remarks expressed gratitude to the student body for acknowledging his efforts and reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that promote education, youth development and grassroots security.
