Nasarawa Lawmaker charges leaders on interventions with human face. ***distributes 21 motorcycles, 20 sewing machines, empowers 20 women with 50,000 start up cash each

Member representing Kokona East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi, has distributed 21 motorcycles, 20 sewing machines and a car worth millions of naira to his constituents.

Hon. Ogazi also dolled out N50, 000 to each beneficiary of the sewing machines as a start up initiative to ameliorate their sufferings which he said was to improve their standard of living

Ogazi, who is the house committee Chairman on Rules and Business said at the event that the gesture was part of his continued commitment to improve on the well being of his people.

” By the Special Grace of God, I will continue to initiate good policies and programmes that will change the lives of our people. I want to assured the people of my constituency of sound and quality representation.

” You are all aware that I have touched on your lives positively through my various intervention projects. I want to assure you that I will continue to put smile on the faces of my people” he said.

The lawmaker challenged leaders in the country to take deliberate actions to implement policies and programmes that would alleviate the plights of Nigerians.

The Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business disclosed that tracking mechanism revealed that his intervention programmes and policies are transforming lives especially those at the grassroots, hence the need to continue with distribution of Cars motorcycles, sewing machines, cash transfer and other interventions.

Hon. Ogazi called on members of his constituency, who have not benefited from his infrastructural and interventions projects to exercise patience, saying he has made a vow to touch every household in Kokona East constituency before the end of his tenure.

On their parts, stakeholders at the event, Chairman Kokona Local Government, Hon. Mek Agbawu Mek, his predecessor, Hon. Awwalu Adamu, who is also the Special Adviser to Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the APC Chairman of the local government, all appreciated Ogazi for always rolling out people’s driven projects and pledged their support all the times.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Village Head of Sabon Gida, Bako Salau Maikeffi who was given a car at the event, commended Hon. Ogazi for always putting smile on the faces of his constituents.

It would be recalled that some of the beneficiaries, who spoke promised to use the motorcycles and sewing machines to engage in business ventures that will address their challenges in the face of economic downturn.

It would also be reported that sharing of cars, motorcycle, sewing machines and other interventions have been a routine gesture for people of Kokona East constituency since Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi was elected a parliamentarian ten years ago and he has not reneged on his promises to his constituents.
