Nasarawa Speakership crisis: APC family indivisible — Party Chieftain, congratulates Balarabe for emergence as speaker

The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain in Nasarawa state, Chief Douglas Otaru has said the party remained indivisible family capable of resolving its crisis amicably without external interference.

Chief Otaru, the spokesman of the party in the state said while reacting to the resolution of the protracted leadership crisis in the state House of Assembly even as he congratulated the speaker, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi, on his emergence as the speaker of the 7th assembly of the state.

In a statement, the Publicity Secretary of the party, explained that the successful settlement of the crisis, emergence of the speaker and the swearing in of Abdulahi was victory for the people of Nasarawa state and a manifestation of the leadership quality of the governor and the party hyrachy.

He noted that with the emergence of the speaker, and the constitution of the 7th Assembly governance would commence assuring that the policy drive of the governor would begin to manifest for the betterment of the people.

“The inauguration of Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi as the Speaker, activities of government stampeded due to leadership crisis will soon be a thing of the past”.

” Although the step taking by the factional leader to withdraw from the speakership race is belated but necessary. Some stakeholders who do not will not want to see anything good for the the state took advantage of the crisis to cause confusion” Otaru stated.

The party however, congratulated Hon Daniel Ogah Ogazi and other members of his faction for their show of patriotism.
