The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has extended warm greetings to Christians across the world as they celebrate Christmas.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations of the Commission, Celestine Toruka.

In his Christmas message, Bishop Adegbite admonished Christians to imbibe and reflect the virtues of Jesus Christ, who, despite His divinity, humbled Himself to liberate humanity. He noted that Jesus Christ was born in a manger in Bethlehem to uplift the poor and dismantle pride and arrogance, urging believers to embrace humility and desist from actions that distance them from God.
The NCPC boss also encouraged Christians to use the Christmas season to demonstrate love and extend fellowship to people of other faiths, stressing that the celebration embodies grace, joy, love, and peace. He further called on Nigerians to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice President, and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, asking God to grant them wisdom and guidance.
Bishop Adegbite expressed confidence that Nigeria would surmount its present challenges and emerge stronger, describing prayer as the nation’s sustaining grace. He wished Christians a peaceful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year.
