Nnamani Denies Alleged Apology to Peter Obi, Describes Claim as False and Misleading
Former Governor of Enugu State and Senator, Chimaroke Nnamani, has dismissed as false a statement circulating in the media and across social platforms claiming that he issued an apology to Mr Peter Obi over alleged past remarks.
In a press statement issued by his media office, Senator Nnamani described the claim as entirely fabricated, misleading, and a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation. He stated categorically that at no time, whether in public or private, did he apologize to Mr Obi or make the remarks being attributed to him.
According to the statement, the purported apology is a complete fabrication aimed at misleading the public and pushing a political narrative that has no basis in fact. Senator Nnamani stressed that he has always spoken forthrightly and stands firmly by his political views and past statements.
The former governor further noted that he does not engage in political revisionism and does not apologize for exercising his right to free expression within the limits of democratic discourse. He urged the public to completely disregard the false claim and cautioned those behind the story to desist from dragging his name into what he described as cheap propaganda and outright falsehoods.
The statement concluded that Senator Chimaroke Nnamani remains focused on matters of national importance and will not be distracted by manufactured controversies.

Media Office of Senator Chimaroke Nnamani
