The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has declared a dividend of ₦5.8 trillion for the 2025 financial year after recording a ₦7.2 trillion profit after tax, representing a 33 per cent increase from the ₦5.4 trillion recorded in 2024.

The company disclosed this on Tuesday while announcing its audited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, following its Annual General Meeting and second Earnings Call with financial and business analysts.

Despite a 24 per cent decline in revenue to ₦34.5 trillion, largely attributed to lower crude oil prices and reduced white-product volumes following market deregulation in 2024, NNPC said its stronger earnings reflected the resilience of its operations and improved financial performance.
