North West Development Commission Applauds Tinubu Over Appointment of Yakawada as Chairman

The management of the North West Development Commission (NWDC) has lauded President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for appointing Lawal Abdullahi Yakawada as Chairman of the Commission’s Governing Board.

In a congratulatory message to Yakawada, the Managing Director of the NWDC, Professor Shehu Abdullahi Ma’aji, described the appointment as well deserved.

“On behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff of the North West Development Commission (NWDC), I extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed Chairman on his well-deserved appointment as the Chairman of the Commission’s Governing Board of Chairmen,” Ma’aji said.

He added that the recognition was a testament to Yakawada’s exemplary leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the progress and development of the North West region and Nigeria at large.

“Your appointment brings pride to the Commission and further strengthens our collective resolve to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he stated.
