NSUBEB, NDE move to strengthen basic education in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, (NSUBEB) and the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) have agreed to collaborate on areas of possibility aimed at strengthening basic education in Nasarawa State.

The Executive Chairman of the board, Dr Kassim Mu’hd Kassim stated this on Wednesday, when the NDE state coordinator, Idris Dauda Mahmud led the State management team on a courtesy visit to his office in Lafia.
Dr Kassim disclosed the willingness of the board with workable structures that will strengthen basic education delivery system, enhance the effectiveness and safe learning environment for all children and other strategic initiatives that would help address the constraints in achieving basic education sub-sector in the state.
The NSUBEB boss added that the board under his leadership is equally interested in any partnership that will enhance access to quality education, and achieve maximum impact on basic education delivery.
Dr Kassim who appreciated the activities of the NDE in the state, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Director General of NDE, Hon Silas Ali Agara for an impactful achievements especially on the youths of Nasarawa State.
Speaking earlier, the NDE state coordinator, Idris Dauda Mahmud said they were at the board to formally congratulate the Chairman on his appointment and to explore areas of partnership to develop the basic education sub-sector.
