SDP State Chairmen Forum Congratulates Party on Supreme Court Victory

The Forum of State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has congratulated the party’s leadership and members nationwide on the Supreme Court judgment in favour of the party.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Hon. Femi Olaniyi, the Forum described the ruling as a significant boost that will further strengthen the SDP across the country.

Hon. Olaniyi commended the National Working Committee for what he described as its “resolute unity of purpose,” noting that the judgment represents a collective victory for all party members.

The Forum also expressed special appreciation to the party’s former presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, for his unwavering support, both financially and physically, throughout the legal process.

Hon. Olaniyi praised the commitment of elected SDP members across the nation, stating that the judgment has renewed confidence within the party as preparations begin ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He urged party members to remain focused and commence full mobilisation without distractions, stressing that the ruling has cleared the path for more strategic political engagement.

According to the Forum, the SDP is now better positioned to expand its influence nationwide, with state chairmen reaffirming their readiness to continue supporting the party’s growth and success.
