Why Tinubu Does Not Need to Attend Every Rally – Kalu Explains Role of Field Marshals
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not need to keep moving around for campaign ahead of the 2027 election.
According to him, the real work is already happening at the grassroots. Kalu said party members who are field workers are on ground mobilising support for the President.
He believes extensive campaigning is unnecessary as party members are actively securing support and grassroots mobilization is already in progress to back Tinubu’s candidacy.
Speaking recently, Kalu said he is confident Tinubu will win the 2027 election without rigging.
He said, “For me, I don’t think it’s necessary for President Tinubu to keep running around campaigning for his re-election in 2027.
“We are field workers, and we are already doing that for him. President Tinubu will win without rigging.”
The former Abia governor explained that campaign is not done in Abuja, but in the hinterland where the people live.
He said what the party needs now is to go back to the grassroots, not to quarrel in Abuja. He also appealed to APC leaders to unite behind the President and focus on delivering results, because the Field Marshals – governors, ministers, senators and party leaders who know their communities – are already taking the campaign to the people.
