Year 2025: YFDA Wants Grant Handlers To Release Subscribers Funds In Their Possession Before January Ending

The National President of Youth Forum for Development’ in Africa, YFDA, Amb. Dr. Paschal Anyanwu has called on grant handlers withholding Nigerians funds since last year to release the monies in their possession before the end of January, 2025.

Amb. Dr Paschal Anyanwu who is also the National President of NGO CEOs in Nigeria made the call while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.

He said the subscribers do not want what happened last year to repeat itself this year and enjoined Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs relating with the grant handlers to be transparent in their dealings with them towards realizing Government’s objectives on various grants to Nigerian subscribers.

“This is 2025 and I will not want what happened in 2024 to occur in 2025 again because 2025 is a year of action when it comes to economic empowerment of Nigerians through the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu’ and we are fully ready to bring all those that want to take us for granted to book therefore I’m appealing to the Federal Government, the security agencies, MDAs to safeguard and protect Nigerians from scammers and those who always claim that they want to help Nigerian masses and they’re not doing anything concerning that ” Amb Dr Anyanwu stated.

He equally called for effective and holistic implementation of this year’s budget when finally passed by the National Assembly to further alleviate the current economic hardship on the country.

The National President attributed the slow pace of the country’s development over the years’ to poor implementation of budget by Government at all levels.

While commending the political Will of President Bola Tinubu to reposition the country for greatness, Dr Paschal Anyanwu stressed the need for proper monitoring and oversight of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs responsible for actualizing the renewed hope agenda through proper implementation of this year’s budget.

Dr Paschal Anyanwu also emphasized the need for programmes that would further empower Nigerian youths to enable them contribute their quota to national development’.

The National President of Youth Forum for Development’ in Africa advised the Federal Government to consider more investment in agriculture, renewable energy and infrastructures in 2025 towards enhancing rapid development’ in the country.

While congratulating all Nigerians for making it to the new year 2025, Amb Dr Anyanwu encouraged them not to loose hope in the affairs of Nigeria adding that with the prayers and support of all stakeholders’, Nigeria would soon overcome its challenges and take its rightful place among comity of nations.
