President Bola Tinubu has expressed immense joy over the successful rescue of the children and teachers abducted from the Oriire community in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, by security operatives.

The President commended the bravery and dedication of the security agencies, particularly the military, the Department of State Services (DSS), and the Nigeria Police Force, for their relentless efforts over the past 56 days, which led to the safe rescue of the victims without any collateral damage.
He also praised the operatives for arresting eight of the kidnappers while neutralising others.
President Tinubu sympathised with the rescued children, their teachers, their families, and the nation over the pain and anxiety they endured throughout the period of captivity.
He also applauded the Oyo State Government for its cooperation with the Federal Government during the rescue operation and urged the state to strengthen security measures around schools to prevent similar incidents.
The President assured Nigerians that justice would be served for the rescued victims, their teachers, and the family of Mr. Oyedokun, who was brutally killed by the terrorists.
President Tinubu further directed relevant emergency agencies to work closely with the Oyo State Government to provide the rescued children and teachers with the necessary medical care and relief support.
