Just-in: Tinubu Reshuffles NTA Leadership, Appoints New DG, Executive Directors

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a new management team for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in a move aimed at strengthening national broadcasting and repositioning the network for greater efficiency.
A statement from the Presidency on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of Rotimi Richard Pedro from Lagos State as the new Director-General of the NTA.
Other key appointments include:
Karimah Bello (Katsina State) – Executive Director, Marketing
Stella Din (Plateau State) – Executive Director, News
Sophia Issa Mohammed (Adamawa State) – Managing Director, NTA Enterprises Limited
According to the statement, the appointments take immediate effect and reflect the President’s commitment to using broadcasting as a tool for national unity, cohesion, and soft diplomacy.
