NSHA Speaker Urges Nigerians on Honesty, Peace, Unity, Endorses Northern Youths’ Award

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, has said that Nigeria has all it takes to attain meaningful development if peace and unity are placed at the forefront of national priorities.

Dr. Jatau made the remark in Lafia while receiving a “Confirmation of Credence” award from the Northern Youth Organization of Nigeria.

The Speaker recalled that northern leaders who played key roles at Nigeria’s independence were deeply committed to the nation’s growth, urging today’s leaders across all levels of governance to emulate such values for the country’s prosperity.

While calling for peace and unity among Nigerians as a foundation for progress, Dr. Jatau also reminded the youth to remain industrious rather than engage in acts capable of undermining societal development.

Presenting the award, the leader of the Northern Youth Organization of Nigeria, Comrade Isa Odudu, said the recognition was in appreciation of Dr. Jatau’s immense contributions to building a united and indivisible Nigeria.

He further urged the Speaker to sustain his leadership style for posterity, assuring him of the group’s loyalty and continuous support.
