Two Delta Connection regional jets were involved in a collision while taxiing at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday night, causing significant damage to both aircraft.

The incident occurred around 9:56 p.m. when the two CRJ-900s, operated by Endeavor Air, made contact at low speed.

One aircraft lost part of its wing, while the other sustained nose damage.

Although no passengers were injured, a flight attendant suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. All 85 passengers were safely evacuated, provided with meals and hotel accommodations, and placed on alternative flights.

Delta confirmed that it is cooperating with authorities to investigate the accident, emphasizing that customer safety remains its top priority. The collision did not affect broader airport operations.
