Education has continued to receive significant attention from the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, whose interventions in the sector have remained consistent throughout his years in public service.

His educational support initiatives are aimed at encouraging learning, easing the burden on parents, and giving children the tools they need to succeed.
In Arochukwu Local Government Area, several schools have recently benefited from the distribution of educational materials. The beneficiaries include Eluelu Abam Secondary School, Ndebe Abam; Ndememe Primary School, Abam; Unruji Comprehensive Secondary School, Amuru Abam; Onyerubi Comprehensive Secondary School, Ndoji Abam; Amuru Abam Community Primary School; Atan Arochukwu Primary School; Amuvi Secondary School; and Aggrey Memorial Secondary School, among others.
The educational materials, though simple in appearance, provide vital support to many families facing financial challenges. Items such as notebooks, textbooks, and school bags not only reduce the cost of schooling for parents but also motivate pupils to remain committed to their education and pursue their dreams.
Supporters of the initiative believe that continued investment in education is essential for the development of Abia North. They maintain that sustaining such programmes will enable more children, schools, and communities to benefit, while reinforcing the belief that investing in education is an investment in the future.
