India Reaffirms Strong Ties With Nigeria, Wishes Country Peace And Prosperity At 66
India has reaffirmed its longstanding partnership with Nigeria, describing the relationship between both countries as one built on mutual respect, shared values and strong people-to-people ties.
India’s Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Vartika Rawat, stated this in a goodwill message to mark Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary on Thursday.
Rawat extended warm greetings to Nigerians, their families and the people of Nigeria on behalf of the Indian High Commission, noting that India considers it a privilege to witness Nigeria’s development journey and contribute to strengthening bilateral relations.
She said the partnership between India and Nigeria remained “longstanding and multifaceted,” anchored by shared values and close ties between the peoples of both countries.
The Deputy High Commissioner wished Nigeria continued peace, progress, prosperity and development, while expressing hope that the enduring friendship between India and Nigeria would continue to grow stronger.
“Happy Independence Day, Nigeria,” Rawat said.
