Assembly step down one, confirms 17 Area Councils administrators in Nasarawa *clears a professor, Doctor as members

Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has confirmed 17 out of 18 Administrators, members for the 18 Area Administrative Councils submitted to the House by Governor Abdullahi Sule

The Speaker who stepped down the confirmation of Mr Bashir Zubairu as Administrator, Farin Ruwa Area Administrative Council, urged them to live above board while discharging their duties, when sworn in.

“We step down the confirmation of Mr Bashir Zubairu as Administrator, Farin Ruwa Area Administrative Council–while Elizabeth Auta, Julius Jukpah, Nuhu Umar Atsiya and Hon. Sule Tanko were confirmed as Members”

The Speaker congratulated them on their well deserved appointments and wished them well in their assignments.

The Speaker directed the Clerk of the Assembly to communicate the House resolution to Gov. Sule for his necessary action.

In an interview separately, Prof. Rabo Dakare, Administrator, Panda Area Administrative Council and Hon. David Ayele, Administrator, Jenkwe Area Administrative Council pledged to contribute their quota positively to the development of their Councils and the State at large.

The administrators while promising to prioritize Peace and security of their areas for the overall development of the State, appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for the confidence reposed on them and promised not to disappoint him.

It would be recalled that on May 13, 2025 Gov. Abdullahi Sule announced the appointment of 18 administrators and their members for the 18 Area Administrative Councils in the State.
