Benue: APC Chairman, Benjamin Omale Mobilizes Kinsmen for PVC Registration, Drums Support for Alia’s Reelection

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Chief Benjamin Omale, has called on his kinsmen from Ohimini Local Government Area (LGA) to rally behind Governor Hyacinth Alia’s reelection bid in the 2027 general elections.

Omale made the call when he received his kinsmen, led by the Ada’Ohimini, Chief John Ochayi, who paid him a solidarity visit in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

He urged the people of Ohimini to ensure they register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the polls, stressing that their massive turnout would guarantee the reelection of Governor Alia.

Expressing confidence in the governor’s leadership, Omale noted that Alia’s reelection would further consolidate the gains of good governance and progress being witnessed in Ohimini and across Benue State.

He commended the governor’s developmental strides, describing his administration as one that has placed Benue on the path of global standards.

The APC chairman emphasized the need for total support for Governor Alia, whom he described as the most qualified and deserving candidate to continue leading the state.

Condemning the recent killings in some Ohimini communities, Omale condoled with the affected families and called for unity among his people, noting that nothing is more valuable than human life.

He briefed them on a recent peace meeting held between the Fulani herders and Ohimini residents, cautioning youths against any acts capable of disrupting peace and harmony in the area.

Omale also conveyed Governor Alia’s sympathy to the bereaved families and assured them of the government’s commitment to ensuring sustained security across Benue State.

In his remarks, the Ohimini LG Chairman, Mr. Gabriel Adole, appreciated his people for their continued support, expressing sadness over the killings and pledging renewed efforts to safeguard lives and property. He described the visit as a morale booster to do more for the APC family in the state.

The Ada’Ohimini, Chief John Ochayi, commended Governor Alia for appointing Chief Omale as APC Chairman, describing it as a testament to the governor’s recognition of Ohimini’s contributions. He assured of their unwavering loyalty and total support for both the governor and Chief Omale to further strengthen the APC and advance the development of Benue State.
