The Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) has successfully conducted the final test run of the revitalised Benfruit Juice Industry in Makurdi ahead of the commencement of full operations.

Speaking with journalists after the exercise at the company’s premises, the Maintenance Manager, Engr.
Henry Boager, disclosed that the final testing phase was carried out successfully.
Boager explained that the production system was operating concurrently and had already started crushing operations.
According to him, the plant has the capacity to produce four tons per hour, although operations initially commenced at two tons per hour before production was gradually increased.
“We started the final test run today and, so far, everything is going smoothly. Our system is running concurrently and we have successfully commenced crushing operations,” he said.
“Ordinarily, the system capacity is four tons per hour, but we started with two tons per hour and gradually increased production.
“The crushing rate has now risen to three tons per hour, and we are working towards attaining the full four tons per hour capacity,” he added.
Boager further stated that the final testing phase was also aimed at assessing the efficiency and operational capacity of the equipment.
He commended the Group Managing Director of BIPC, Raymond Asemakaha, and the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, for giving him the opportunity to contribute to the development of the state through the project.
