BISHOP ADEGBITE CONGRATULATES NCPC FEDERAL COMMISSIONER ON INDUCTION INTO KNIGHTHOOD OF ST. CHRISTOPHER

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has congratulated the Federal Commissioner representing the South-South Zone on the NCPC Board, Sir Prince Weli Wosu, following his induction into the Knighthood of St.

Christopher.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Director of Media and Public Relations of the Commission, Celestine Toruka.

Speaking through the Federal Commissioner representing the South-East Zone, Chief Clement Nweke, Bishop Adegbite described Sir Wosu as a devoted servant of God who has made significant contributions to the propagation of the gospel.
He said the induction of Sir Wosu into the Knighthood of St. Christopher by the Anglican Church of Nigeria in Port Harcourt reflects his dedication to both the Church and humanity.
Bishop Adegbite further stated that the new Knight of St. Christopher has made remarkable contributions to the NCPC Board. According to him, Sir Wosu’s background as a technocrat and administrator has distinguished him as a role model worthy of emulation.
“The recognition by the Church will spur Sir Wosu to render more service to the Church and the people of God, while also strengthening his resolve to continue defending the Christian faith,” the NCPC boss stated.
The induction ceremony was held on May 9, 2026, at the Anglican Church in the Garden City of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The investiture ceremony attracted prominent personalities, friends, and well-wishers who came together to celebrate the honouree’s achievement within the Anglican Church.
