The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the ongoing recruitment exercise across Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja, the Secretary to the Board, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, said the shortlisted candidates include applicants for the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

Maj.-Gen. Jubril urged all applicants to visit the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to check their status and obtain details for the next stage of the process.

“Candidates are to check if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise, as well as the centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT),” the statement read.

He further advised successful applicants to take note of their respective venues, dates, and times for the CBT to avoid missing the opportunity.

The Board cautioned candidates to rely solely on the official portal and disregard fake websites or individuals claiming to influence the recruitment process.
