Nigerians have been encouraged to take advantage of the Easter celebration to seek divine solutions to insecurity and other pressing challenges facing the country.
The Archbishop of the Methodist Cathedral of Unity, Wuse, Abuja, Most Reverend Michael Akinwale, gave the charge during an Easter service in Abuja.

He emphasized that Nigerians, regardless of their religious affiliations, must unite in seeking God’s face for lasting solutions to the nation’s problems.
He also made a passionate appeal to Christians not to relent in praying for President Bola Tinubu, asking God to grant him divine wisdom in steering the affairs of the country.
According to the Methodist Archbishop, Nigeria remains a collective asset that requires the commitment of all citizens to function effectively.
Most Reverend Akinwale further described Nigeria as a special project, stressing the importance of placing total trust in God.
He noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ offer hope that Nigeria will one day take its rightful place among the comity of nations.
He assured that the church would continue to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ while also extending support to the needy in society.
