Pastor Babagbemi Joseph Adejola has urged Christians to emulate the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as they celebrate Easter, noting that the season serves as a reminder of Christ’s love, sacrifice, and humility.

In a message to commemorate the Easter celebration, Pastor Adejola, who is also a political leader and founder of the GB Irorun Movement, called on Christians to reflect on the essence of Christ’s death and resurrection.

He said Easter should not be reduced to mere festivity, but rather be seen as a time for spiritual renewal and commitment to godly virtues such as selflessness, forgiveness, and service to humanity.

“Jesus Christ laid down His life for the redemption of mankind. As Christians, we must strive to live lives that reflect His character – lives of peace, compassion, and sacrifice for the good of others,” he said.

Pastor Adejola also encouraged Nigerians to pray for peace, unity, and development of the country, adding that the resurrection power of Christ should inspire hope in the face of challenges.

He further appealed to political leaders to imbibe the values of justice and integrity in their service to the people.
