Residents of CBN Estate in Wumba, Abuja, have raised alarm over what they describe as an illegal enforcement of a court order that led to the demolition of houses and the forceful eviction of families.

Speaking in an interview shared by TrustTV News at 2:54, one of the affected residents, Blessing Oziwo, recounted her harrowing experience.

“I met more than 50 boys at the front of my door, trying to break it down. I told them to hold on, that I would open the door. Immediately I opened it, they rushed in with me. I started struggling with them, telling them to step outside so I could pack my things, but they refused,” Oziwo narrated.

She explained that she begged them to allow her some time to gather her belongings, but her pleas were ignored.

“There was one in pink, I captured his face on camera. I told him to give me just one hour, but he said it would never happen. I pleaded for 30 or even 20 minutes to pick my valuables before they began moving my things, but he still refused. They packed my belongings themselves and carried them outside,” she added.
