President Bola Tinubu has flagged off the construction of the access road linking Tungan Madaki to the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway in the Zuba axis of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Speaking during the flag-off ceremony in Abuja, the President, represented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr.
Abbas Tajudeen, directed the contractor handling the project to ensure its timely completion while maintaining high construction standards. He also urged the contractor to engage local labour to create employment opportunities for youths during and after the construction period.
President Tinubu said the project is a continuation of the Bill Clinton Drive to Tungan Madaki Community Road, which was commissioned a few weeks ago as part of activities marking the third anniversary of his administration. He also called on residents of Tungan Madaki, Zuba and neighbouring communities to cooperate with the contractor to ensure the successful execution of the project.
Earlier, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Wike, said the road project was in line with President Tinubu’s directive that all satellite towns and Area Councils in the FCT should be linked to the city through quality road infrastructure.
In a vote of thanks, the Minister of State for the FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, described the construction of the access road from Tungan Madaki to the Abuja-Kaduna Road at Zuba as another strong demonstration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the FCT Administration’s commitment to extending infrastructure and economic opportunities to underserved communities.
