Forbes has officially declared American music icon Beyoncé Knowles-Carter a billionaire, making her the fifth musician globally to attain the milestone.

The announcement was made in a Forbes report published on Monday, December 29, 2025.
With the recognition, the Grammy Award-winning superstar joins an elite group of billionaire musicians that includes her husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.

Beyoncé’s financial rise follows what has been described as a landmark year in her illustrious career. The 44-year-old singer clinched the industry’s highest honour by winning Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards for her country album, Cowboy Carter, which was released the previous year.
She also made history as the first Black woman to win the Grammy Award for Best Country Album.
With a record 35 Grammy wins and 99 nominations, Beyoncé remains the most-awarded artist in Grammy history, including accolades earned during her time with the chart-topping girl group Destiny’s Child, which helped launch her global career.
Beyond music, Beyoncé has built an expansive business portfolio. Her ventures include successful clothing and haircare brands, as well as an expansion into the beverage industry with the launch of a whisky brand, SirDavis, named after her great-grandfather.
These diverse entrepreneurial pursuits have played a significant role in boosting her net worth and cementing her status as one of the most influential and successful entertainers in the world.
